The Life of Chuck

I'm not a huge fan, but I seem to suddenly be both reading and watching Stephen King. I have read several of the books and seen a few of the movies over the years. I recently read a review of his most recent book, "Never Flinch", part of a series that features the Holly Gibney character. I favor reading most literary series in order, so I decided to start with "Mr. Mercedes", the 1st that introduces Holly.

Around the same time, my son recommended seeing "The Life of Chuck", a new film based on a King novella. The plot line actually starts at the end of he story and work forward. The primary theme references the Walt Whitman poem, "Song of Myself", specifically "“Do I contradict myself? / Very well then, I contradict myself. / (I am large, I contain multitudes.)”.
I reccomend, particularly in the air-conditioned comfort of a movie theater stadium seats on a hot summer day.
